Jet Li's has finally been Unleashed upon us all
(right click and save!)

It looks like Luc Besson has had his hands in this one :)

I hope it's more along the lines of his earlier Directoral works and not so much an action flick (their previous combined efforts churned up the unoriginal Kiss of the Dragon which had it's highlights but was essentially nothing more than a decent ass kick film). If a trailer can be any indicator (I'm not saying it can) than this film should far surpass that one.

Enjoy :)

Morgan is super cool

"and the Academy Award goes to..." ;)

Bob Hoskins as a brutish British ass

only in Houston (well just about)

Mostly cloudy 68°F

We go from perfect snow to perfect weather in a matter of days. Actually, yesterday was sunny and bright, so really only two days between them. Today we've had a couple of small showers, but they were nice.

Today is Trish's 35th birthday so Happy Birthday big(little) sister!

snow by the poolside :)

brandy can't spell christmas ;)

White Christmas in Houston!

Merry Christmas!

We recieved about two inches of snow on Christmas Eve and seeing how this was Rowan's first Christmas, he'll probably expect it every year from now on. ;)

Brandy loved it so much that she told everyone that we were moving. Maybe it won't be so hard to convince her five years down the road now. :)

Metallica!

Went and saw last night and i am still utterly hoarse.

Carrie and Jerry took me. It was Carrie's birthday present from Jerry. He'd been sitting on the tickets for months, complaining about how they'd all sold out early, and then he sprung them on Carrie on her birthday and she flipped.

It was a great show.

I need to get this for Rowan ;)

In other news: The coffee oasis site is now up and running. Although it will be a little while before Rusty and I can get the daily special and soups section better updated. What I really need is a computer at my work where I can access the site and people can email their orders instead of the fax system currently up. We'll see. It is still a new concept, and eventually it may turn out to be a pretty profitable addition, but for a while I doubt anyone but us two will ever visit the site!

New Family Member

Yesterday I became an Uncle for the seventh time (first through marraige). Brandy's sister Melissa gave birth to a 7 lb. 13 oz. baby boy, Joel Austin. Brandy baked cookies for Leeann and all of the nurses who helped during delivery, and my sister Michele watched the boys so we could go up to congradulate them together.

They are both excited and set to kick off a new chapter in life. I know they will make great parents.

Rowan is just about to start walking. He'll usually take three to five steps before falling and crawling the rest of the way.

Aidan is ready for potty training...yesterday he took off his pull-ups, folded them up, and handed them to me. (he was wet)
